Yes — on every project that requires one. We handle the permit application, inspection scheduling, and final sign-off. You'll receive a copy of the closed permit at project completion. If a contractor tells you permits aren't needed for a structural or electrical scope, walk away.

Your project timeline is written into the contract — not just estimated verbally. We build in buffer days for inspections and material delays. You'll get a daily photo update and a weekly written progress report so you're never guessing.

Our workmanship warranty covers labor defects — anything that fails because of how it was installed, not because of normal wear or misuse. This includes tile cracking at grout lines, cabinet door adjustments, plumbing connections, and finish carpentry. Manufacturer warranties on materials are separate and transferred to you at closing.

Our core crew (demo, framing, tile, finish carpentry, paint) are all W-2 Crestline employees. We use licensed subs for HVAC, plumbing rough-in, and electrical — the same subs on every project, who know our standards. You'll never have random day labor on your job site.

Standard structure is 30% at contract signing, 40% at rough-in milestone, 25% at substantial completion, and 5% retained until final walkthrough. We never ask for more than 30% upfront — if a contractor asks for 50%+ before work starts, that's a red flag.

For bathroom and kitchen-only scopes, most clients stay. For whole-home projects, we strongly recommend temporary relocation — both for your comfort and so our crew can work more efficiently. We'll give you an honest assessment at the consultation.
